Dream

UFO

• UFO

I was in the park in front of my house.
An ordinary day,
when suddenly...

I sensed something imminent, a danger, an urgency.

When I looked up, I saw a small circular shape forming in the atmosphere, like a ball.

That night, I had been feeling uneasy.

My mother worked in a bar, and on that particular occasion, my father had been its most loyal customer.

I could feel the early sensations of anxiety and attachment taking shape...

° One of the first moments when, while I was in kindergarten, recess had ended and everyone, absolutely all my classmates and teachers, were heading back upstairs to class, while I was not.

I hadn’t a care in the world...

Either I was daydreaming with my head in the clouds,
...Or sleeping, lost among the colors.

I remember perfectly how I stood behind the building, my head resting between the cold iron bars of a gate, looking toward the older children’s courtyard, when suddenly, out of nowhere, I found myself alone in the entire yard.

I wondered whether I was dreaming...

My window of attention had erased a good stretch of time, as though I had leapt into the future...

And strangest of all, every time, all the children were counted before going back upstairs... How could they have gotten it wrong precisely then...?

I felt as though I had done something wrong. How else could I have explained what had happened? It remained one of my secrets...

§
•In the dream, I almost pissed myself. Literally.

The feeling of going weak inside, of your knees buckling, the panic, the fear, the urgency, all of it extremely real.

I remember the feeling...

I shouted,

    “Guys, guys, look up,

                        they’re coming!

                                    The UFOs!”

No one believed me. They kept playing.

Because no one took me seriously, I continued playing the role of someone who belonged to the reality they imposed upon me. Constrained by the situation.

Some time passed and, when I looked up again, I saw how close they had come.

The sensation itself was visceral.

A sensation that seems to exist within the entire human species, a seed left behind to forever remind us of that something beyond the limits of our minds.

Naturally, I told myself, “Too late.”

Looking upward, through enormous, beautiful trees that rose and opened like umbrellas, I saw the sky flashing with lights.

The trees began to crack and exploded into a rain of shattered wood.

I could only watch, helpless. My feet were welded to my shoes, and my shoes to the earth.

It was carnage.

The final scene was drawing near. The frame of the climactic moment was taking shape, with me at its center.

Its impact was so great that dozens of other old memories began surfacing within me.

So intense that the past of the dream’s dimension had been altered by its own future.

§

Before this period, what I dreamed was more impersonal.

° The dream of my parents’ alternate marriage, another early imprint.

I was not a character within it. I was more of a spectator. My consciousness was there, but remained within its indifferent nature, never capable of seeing itself while under the spell of the dream.

My mother, wearing a white dress, appeared to be pregnant. A large belly she could barely carry caught my eye, while the sensations of life and death intersected.

It took place in the same park in front of my house.

It was as though I were watching from somewhere far away, across space and time, yet also from nearby, as though I were the surrounding air.

Suddenly, another layer of the dream appeared, that static dream of being inside a small room crowded with all kinds of objects.

It was disturbingly profound.

So many things scattered about.

It looked like a shop filled with knickknacks and old objects, with a small television placed near the ceiling. On it, I could watch the wedding while resting my head in my mother’s lap. She too waited there silently, waiting for us to reach the location. Strange how it seemed to be nothing more than a night spent watching television.

Was I to be the result of the union? A small birth within the Sphere...

    ‘Upward she rises, sweetly reborn...
...This symbolic Virgin, arriving with morn.’

Crossing the Universe, from sweet night into cold morning.

The dream about the UFOs was spectacular, perhaps spectacular even in a generic sense, typical of the Hollywood clichés exploited time and again.

    • The law of Being and the law of Sensation dictate the equation’s existence...

‘From zero to one, from one to two, from two...’

...applying the formula to myself...
                                                    ...I succeeded,
...through the consciousness of the Sphere within the story,
in making contact with the Anomaly ∆.

And the UFOs, like the paradoxes, were all accepted by reality, finding validation through their resonance with the entire Sphere of Spheres.

Three meters in front of me, a UFO descends and locks onto a child.

From the aperture I knew they used to abduct cows, a kind of miniature black hole appeared, bending reality around itself!

It proceeded to turn the child into a comet of light, and made me piss myself.

Then it was my turn.

I felt my hand enter the UFO’s body-expanding machinery and, little by little...

    It reached me, and I...

...was sucked into an office building with many corridors, each corridor lined with many doors.

    Confusion is putting it mildly.

As I paced left and right, afraid to go anywhere without permission, Mr. Maradona appeared, the legendary footballer.

He walked calmly, without a trace of stress, dressed in a button-up shirt, heading toward one of the doors as though he were simply entering the copy room.

He looked at me, smiled, knocked <twice> on the door, and quietly went inside.

Wow.

Totally unexpected.

Where had I ended up?
And what was this place that seemed like some kind of backstage of reality?

    ...then I reached my door.

I knew it was mine. I had to enter. Something was guiding me.
The feeling of urgency returned.

      ‘from two...
                         ...to three.

...from three, you are free if you want to be.’

    [+1 skill unlocked.
              Conscious of the unconscious]
                                                   (or rather)

My foot crossed the threshold. Light swallowed me from the outside inward, and then I opened my eyes.

         ° A Cube
    (The Poem)

From a dream, I see a cube flow,
A hardened cube whose words bestow
    The natural gift of geometry:
To wake up sleep and let death be.

Three in one, it comes tumbling through,
And stops whenever it feels right to.
The Cube of the Mind and the Word...
Spherically round, like the wind when stirred.

“Sharp” has stumbled, truth be said,
On the corner of the table or the bed.
He who sees a single face...
              Only faces death’s embrace...

Knock and bang,
                       through my head it pounds!

                                      The ringing Triangle resounds...

    ...A waking up, indeed particular...
By a Cube quite Triangular ∆
